A deep bowl in dark cocoa papier-mâché, raised on three short feet, with the rim left torn and unsmoothed. The rough edge is the point — it catches light along the top and keeps the form from ever looking manufactured.

Moon Table Lamp

A heavily textured sphere that glows through its own surface, pitted and cratered like the thing it is named for, resting on a rough-cast base. Lit low in a dark room it stops reading as a lamp and becomes an object.

Classic Shade Table Lamp

A squared shade in umber papier-mâché on a slim white stand — the most conventional shape in the range, in a distinctly unconventional material. It reads as an ordinary bedside lamp until you are close enough to see the surface.

Cement Lantern Lamp

A cast cement block anchoring a woven wire mesh cylinder around an exposed Edison bulb. The mesh throws a fine grid of shadow up the wall behind it. Industrial in structure, entirely hand-cast in fact.
